Yesterday, Publicis Group Philippines officially launched its long-awaited community library. With over 400 beloved books generously donated by its workforce, the PGP Mane Library is a shared collection of favorite reads. It is a selection that could arguably rival the bookstores: “It’s like walking through Fully Booked!” said one anonymous employee.
The library has been months in the making, a popular request from the organization’s big book-loving community. Over 70 people immediately signed up for their library cards at the launch party on October 11. They also received free bookmarks, designed by Blackpencil Senior Art Director Ciara Baello, who created the awesome look of the library.

Over 100 people came to the launch party to celebrate with iced coffee, cupcakes, and books.
Did you know that there are many authors within the Publicis’ community? To make the afternoon even better, a special book reading was held; featuring Blackpencil Executive Creative Director and Publicis Group Philippines Lead Culture Officer Kat Gomez-Limchoc with Book of 40, Blackpencil Creative Team Head Des Feliciano with The Adventure Of Pepot Kuripot & Dora Gastadora, Blackpencil Creative Director Karen Francisco with Naermyth, and Publicis Manila Executive Creative Director Paolo Fabregas with The Filipino Heroes League.
Their books are now available in the library for everyone to borrow, along with the other hundreds of other reads that will surely continue to multiply.
