On June 22, 2024, Publicis Groupe Philippines made its own bit in history by being a part of the 2024 Pride March, fighting for the equal rights of LGBTQIA+ members in a protest against discrimination and violence against the community.
Eighteen members of PGP went on to march alongside their fellow LGBTQIA+ Filipinos and traveled 4.5 kilometers of road alongside more than 100,000 other Pride attendees, the largest Pride March in Southeast Asia this year.

“I was so tired yesterday, and I realized that it was not just because of physical pagod [tiredness], but because, actually there were so many feelings as we were walking,” said Kat Gomez-Limchoc, Lead Culture Officer.
“I realized that we were a part of this age-old tradition of fighting for what is important for a huge number of people, so that really hit me when we were walking last Saturday, aside from the heat and the rain!”
Égalité, a Publicis Groupe is the business resource group for LGBTQIA+ members of the company and it was created in the Philippines to connect its community with allies, together promoting equality and inclusiveness in the workplace.
