Twenty-two leaders from all the agencies of Publicis Groupe Philippines spent a day together learning about their individual strengths and the diversity of the strengths within the team. The workshop used the framework of the CliftonStrengths themes, an approach that focuses on the combination of one’s key strengths that has helped more than 30 million people around the world to better thrive in life and work.
Prior to the workshop, each leader took an assessment test that showed his or her top 5 strengths out of a possible 34 themes. The day was then filled with activities that allowed the group to understand those natural abilities and how they complement each other. There were also many exercises that facilitated the discovery of the strengths of the other people on the leadership team.
There were a lot of Learners and Relators, many who had Positivity and Communication as a top strength, and not surprisingly, a whole lot of Achievers.
The leaders found it to be a very enlightening session and many were keen to run the program for their own teams. This is the next step that will be implemented.
As the organization taps more mindfully into its team’s strengths, the better it can achieve its purpose of making a meaningful difference together.
